I am going to make a controversial announcement. If you know me you will know that my love for Masterchef is forever strong and stems back years, but I feel now that my heart is telling me there is a better cooking show on the air, and that show is The Great British Menu. To me I feel like it's the world cup of chefing, all the best people competing to make the best food. They're all amazing, food has never looked so sexy! Even the people who don't go through are already living the dream of everyone who enters Masterchef.

My favourite contestant so far is Lee, a London based chef who is well on his way to winning South East region. I don't know if it's his dry ice presentation, goat milk sides or his sexy beard, but whatever it is it is working for me!

While I can certainly appreciate him from afar I don't think we would end up being compatible as a couple, working in a restaurant is very unsociable hours, and I've seen Hells Kitchen I know how angry they can get. He probably won't be the laid back character I need who won't mind that I'm messy and quite lazy.

I haven't been able to find out that much about him, like nothing, the number above is not his official age, he was 28 as of Oct 2014 so I am just assuming he is 29 now as I have no official date of birth. Clearly not enough people care about the personal lives of Chefs which is a modern day tragedy if you ask me. His twitter is mainly business too, lots of pics of insanely good looking food and relevant retweets, though it has to be said when he does tweet, it's funny.

Does anybody out there watch Baby Daddy?? Probably not, it's one of those shows that I know isn't actually good, it's a sitcom rip off of Three Men and a Baby but isn't nearly as good. But it has just enough about it to make it something that I watch, even as I know I shouldn't. I must have lost days to the show knowing I gain nothing and don't even enjoy it that much. 

One of the shows main pluses is Derek, he plays Danny who is the brother of the lead character Ben, his main role it seems is to be part of a convoluted love triangle and general eye candy. I feel like the show knows what it's strengths and weaknesses are because without fail they find a reason for Danny to need to take his top off, whether he spills a drink, is sweaty after exercising or just come out of the shower his almighty six pack is displayed like a work of art worthy of The Tate. His body does not disappoint. 
Not. At. All.

I was of the impression that Derek came under the category of fit but shit, cos it has to be said he is not the strongest actor  I have ever seen. However his girlfriend is a scientist currently studying physics according to her Wikipedia page so he must have something about him for them to be in love. I can't believe her though, someone clearly already very smart should not get to be that beautiful. It's unfair to the rest of us. The children they will have will be probably be worshiped like Gods they will be that flawless.

Ewan Mcgregor was the first person that I ever fancied. I remember watching Moulin Rouge and falling in love with Christian and wanting him to be mine. I was 12 and I didn't know much but I knew I wanted to kiss him, properly, loads.

It would probably be an understatement to say that I became obsessed with him. I watched every film I could get my hands on, after Moulin Rouge it was an immediate jump to Trainspotting, (that is not something I recommend letting a 12 yr old see, I mean it's great but not fun. Not fun at all.) And I thought everything was brilliant, the Star Wars prequels, Stormbreaker, the man could do no wrong in my eyes.

I literally thought we were going to end up together, he starred in the theatre as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, which is my favourite musical after Moulin Rouge and it was opening on the 1st of June which is my birthday. I thought it was a sign, everything was falling in to place, I mean it couldn't be a coincidence, it was fate, we were meant to be and finally he would see it too.

Alas he did not.It's hard to connect to someone who is on stage when you are sitting near the back in the dark.

Ewan really did introduce me to lots of knew feelings, my first crush and my first blind hatred. I had never disliked anyone the way I disliked Eve Mavrakis, I thought she was evil, a witch with no soul who was probably planning to kill him and take his money. Fortunately I grew up and was able to move on from that because carrying those feelings around would probably have been quite debilitating. And all she did was marry a man before I got a chance to marry him so it's not really her fault.

I just love him though,

I love him when he has a silly side sweep

I love him when he's being pensive

I love him when he's being sexy on a wall

I love him when he is doing finger guns

I love him most when he's being awesome with Unicef

Lust #14

Name: Jacob Anderson

It has been a long cold winter but finally Game of Thrones is back on telly and we can now get a weekly fix of medieval fiction with needless sex and violence, the word gratuitous is never more appropriate than when talking about GOT. It is terrific though and I have missed it SO MUCH!

When it comes man candy in the show there is an array to choose from. You've got sex on legs Jon Snow, adorable Kings bastard Gendry and Podrick the squire who is so good in bed that prostitutes don't want to be paid. 

However I've chosen the lovable loyal Grey Worm to make the honourable lust list. He is such a good character, he is so stoic and brave and everything he says is just brilliant. 

'"Grey Worm" gives me pride. It is a lucky name. The name this one was born with was cursed. That was the name he had when he was taken as a slave. But Grey Worm is the name this one had the day Daenerys Stormborn set him free.'

If I was Daenerys that would have set me off crying like a baby.

It's not just the character of Grey Worm however that brings us to Jacob Anderson, its also the fact that he is an aspiring musician. Jacob is a singer, and he goes under the pseudonym of Raleigh Ritchie. Which I think is amazing!! I love the idea that he's doing the show all day and then in the back of his mind he's thinking 'I just wanna be singing!'  

I mean he's still cool, its like cool street pop stuff not like Westlife or show tunes, but he dances a bit and I just cant believe its Grey Worm. Its like when Sky from neighbours released a pop single, just didn't see it coming. 

I can't decide if I like his single cos it's funny cos it's shit or whether I actually think it's good. Either way I definitely like it. And you should too.

Lust #13

Name: Pete Hewitt

Relationship status: Single (I think, will probably find out if he makes it to the final)

So Masterchef is back on! Which is terrific news, and anyone who thinks it isn't terrific news is wrong. Dead wrong.

Every series I end up getting completely invested in a male contestant I convince myself I have a future with. I'm a real foodie but a terrible cook so the dream is to find a man who is an excellent cook. Pete appears to fit the majority of my criteria for my Masterchef crush, he is age appropriate (last year was tough as Jack was 21 which made me inwardly cringe), showing promise in the show (you cant root for someone who's out in the first episode), and not being too arrogant (nobody likes a dick).

It has been virtually impossible to find anything about him. Which is understandable I guess but annoying, you think his local paper would want to do a thing on him surely?? All I know really is his age and occupation which I got from the show and that he likes food, which I got from his Twitter. He hasn't had Twitter very long so it isn't brimming with info, just has a lot of banter with other Masterchef contestants really.

At one point he mentioned that he used to live in Bristol, which obviously got my interest, I could have met him, or served him at the shop. I could have been a stones throw away from having my very own meet cute! (Which I of course would have called a Pete cute, cos I'm hilarious).

However we didn't meet, and now he is somewhere in the midlands cooking Asian inspired street food for all the lucky ladies who choose to live as far away from the sea as possible. 

We haven't met all the contestants yet so there could be some sexy wildcard that usurps Pete, but a this minute he is my firm favourite. 

Quick shout out to Larkin from Masterchef 2013, my biggest Masterchef crush ever. I was devastated when he didn't win.

Lust #12

Name: Aiden Turner

Age: 31

Occupation: Actor

Relationship status: In a relationship with Sarah Greene

Aiden Turner has, in my life at least, featured exclusively in fantasy roles. Whether its The Hobbit franchise, Being Human or The mortal instruments. I have no frame a reference for him in any relatable experiences. It was exciting then to see that he was going to be playing an ordinary man living in Cornwall, granted Poldark is set in 18th century so he's hardly the every man but human is always more attainable than vampire.

Aiden's popularity seems to stem from his rugged hair and manly character performances. I tend to like my men a bit more clean cut, but I can completely appreciate a chiseled jaw and unbelievably sexy irish accent. His hands aren't in this picture but he has terrific hands, they seem the perfect hands for lovingly cupping your face and kissing your forehead.

Sadly he will never cup my face as he has a beautiful, professional model girlfriend and no amount of make up could give me a face like hers. It's ok though, I shall console myself by watching him in period dress beating people up and protecting the vulnerable. Period dress is second only to suits when it comes to menswear attire.

The Sewing Bee is back and to celebrate here is the best suit wearer that has ever graced our TV screens. Patrick Grant has the gentle grace and demeanor of someone of someone who should be royalty.

When he talks about suits it is pretty intense, I didn't think I cared about the balance of shoulders, but I really do. It's my whole life now.
